This 3 hour class will give you a hands-on experience on how to assess body condition of different dogs as well as the ability analyze and understand the contents of both store and veterinary brands of dog food.
Puppy Immunity, Vaccinations and Auto-Immune Disorders
This 2 hour class is geared towards new puppy owners, Toller breeders and anyone else interested in learning about the impact of vaccinations on their dogs.
This class covers:
- Maternal Immunity and Interference
- Titres and vaccines
- Intestinal parasites
- How to Socialize your puppy in the first 20 weeks
- What to expect from your first Vet visit
- How to advocate from your dog.
If time permits and at the discretion of the instructor, we will also discuss Lyme disease, Heartworm and preventatives.
How to Groom Your Toller
Whether you are trying to save money or are not sure your groomer is knowledgable in the ways of the Toller, this class is for you!
We will show you how to care for your dogs from tip to tail! You can expect to learn everything about:
- What products to buy.
- How to improve coat health
- Horns, feathers and pants
- Trimming those paws
- How to clip nails
- Show versus hunt grooming
- Tooth exams
- Anal glands
This class is taught by Shauna Canjar Dainton who has groomed and shown her own dogs to Champion and Grand Champion titles in Conformation.
This 2 hour class will include a power point presentation as well as a hands-on grooming session with one of our demo dogs!
